6.4 Topo - operation
Exporting an extended DO list
For exporting an extended "*.uvdx" DO list, all components linked with the DOs are exported,
irrespective whether the components were configured via the DO list or assigned from the
topology to the DO.
Importing an extended DO list
When importing a "*.uvdx" extended DO list into an existing topology, all DO assignments are
deleted. The behavior is also identical when importing a "*.uvd" DO list from existing CMC
releases.
Linked extended DO list
When linking an extended DO list, all existing assignments in the topology are removed. The
DO assignment to components is only possible when a component of the correct type, which
has not been used on any other component of the topology, is available for the selected DO
in the DO list.
You can edit and add new DOs and components in the linked DO list. This is possible only
within the DO list by clicking the
After editing, save the DO list to apply the changes.
Using an extended DO list when creating a new topology
The following variants are available for creating a new topology:

Without preconfiguration: Opening an empty topology.
②
Imported DO list: An empty topology with an imported "*.uvdx" extended DO list opens.
③
Linked DO list: An empty topology with a linked "*.uvdx" extended DO list opens.
④
Cancel: The operation is canceled.
