Creating and editing scripts

You can use CMC scripts in Diff on opened archives in order, for example, to make extended
data exports from archives, without having to create a CMC package.
You can also manipulate data. You can execute the scripts from Diff or via a command line
call.
License
You require a license to use libraries and scripts in Diff.
Syntax used
All elements of the known script language from Expert can be used apart from the following
exceptions.
Exceptions:
ResText() and ResFile() are not supported.

Script Editor

Create MyConfig provides a Script Editor.
Opening the Script Editor from the Windows Start menu
The Script Editor is inserted in the Windows Start menu during the installation of CMC. If you
create a new script file, you can start the Script Editor from the Windows Start menu via the
Start menu item "Script Editor 4.8".

If you open a file with the "*.upscr" or "*.uplib" extension, the Script Editor is started
automatically.
If you work with the Script Editor, a syntax check is performed. You can create, edit and check
scripts for different cases by selecting the respective parser type.
