Installing the External Microphone

An external microphone can be installed on the HFU-U Unit. These
instructions apply to the external microphone obtained from NEC.
The microphone is equipped with a mute button.
1. Plug the microphone cord into the jack on the HFU-U Unit as
shown in
Terminal.
The microphone should be between one foot and three feet
away from the Multiline Terminal.
