6.17 Rotation Adjustment

6.17.1 Overview

When an object moved up/down/right/left (vertically or horizontally) or rotated, the PV310 detects the position and
the rotated degree and move and rotate the Rotation Adjustment checker to the current position of the object.
With this feature, the PV310 computes how much the object moved from the base position in X and Y directions,
and moves and rotates the object by the angle that the object rotated, which is called "adjustment amount".
Detecting the object
The position and angle of the object are detected following the same procedure used for the checkers detecting
the position and angle of an abject or using the checkers.
Binary Edge (Horizontal) / Gray Edge (Horizontal)
Set two search areas and detects an edge horizontally
using the two search areas. The PV310 computes the
angle of the object using the coordinates of the two
edges of the object.
Different inspection conditions can be specified for each
area (excluding some items).
Binary Edge (Vertical), Gray Edge (Vertical)
Set two search areas and detects an edge vertically
using the two search areas. The PV310 computes the
angle of the object using the coordinates of the two
edges of the object.
Different inspection conditions can be specified for each
area (excluding some items).
Feature Extraction
Set just one search area. The PV310 computes
the rotation angle and coordinates by detecting
the center of gravity and the principal axis angle of
the object (Grayscale Image: clusters of white or
black pixels) within the search areaDifferent
inspection conditions can be specified for each
area (excluding some items).
