Precautions for mounting cameras
Noise might disrupt the capturing signal. In that case, make the following operations;
- Use a separated power source for PV310 from the other devices
- Apply a noise filter on the power line
- Wire the camera cable apart from the other devices and cables
Electrically insulate the camera when mounting it in the conditions listed below. Without insulation, the
internal circuit might be damaged because the camera case connects GND of the internal circuit;
- The electric potentials of the camera case and the other devices are different
- When using the device grounding the positive terminal (If it is not insulated, +24V and GND result in a
short circuit status.)
When you fix the camera control unit using the holes on the bottom face, do not screw into the bottom face
over 3.5 mm.
Keep the camera cable 100 mm or more away from power cables and motor cables.
The side with the top indication mark is the upper side of the image displayed on the monitor. Depending
on the direction of camera mounting, images can be captured improperly. In addition, the mounting
position of CCD element and the angle error within the tolerance may allow capturing an image askew. Be
sure to confirm an actual image. If required, adjust with the camera mounting area because you cannot
rotate images with PV310.
