5.1 Setting Inspection Conditions

Set the inspection conditions in the following order. The details of each step are described in the next page or
later.

Select a camera mode.

Select a product type No.
Capture the image of the

inspection object.

Set a checker.
Configure the settings for
outputting judgment result to

the external device.

Display the inspection result.

Save the setting data

Execute inspection

Select a type or mode of the connected camera, or if
necessary, select shutter speed.
Camera mode and shutter speed is common to all product
types.
Select the number of a product type in which a combination of
inspection conditions is stored.
Available product type numbers: 1 – 64
If you want to execute some of the checkers in the
2-a
product type, set the PV310 to SETUP mode.
Put the inspection object under the camera lens and capture
the image into the memory.
Set a inspection area and conditions
If you let the PV310 compute using each detected
value, use the Numeric Calculation function.
4-a
If you output each detected value to the external
device, save the data as Numeric Calculation data
and output it.
Configure the settings for outputting inspection judgment
result OK or NG to the external device.
If you output the
settings data
configured at the
5-a
step 4-a, set the
way of outputting
the settings data or
output format.
Display Judgment result (OK or NG) in the total Judgment
result display area.
Store the setting data in PV310.
Execute inspection by changing to RUN mode.
Refer to page 219 for setting output
destination.
