13.3.3 Backing up/restoring the Saved Images

Backing up a Saved Image
This function allows you to back up the mages (up to 16 pairs of the images captured by each Camera 1 and
Camera 2) saved in the PV310 to a Compact Flash memory card. The images saved in Memory 1 and 2 are backed
up at a time.
Setting Procedure
1.
Select "CARD" from the menu bar in SETUP mode.
The menu is displayed.

Highlight "Backup".
The subwindow appears.
If the following message appears, check if the Compact Flash memory card is
properly inserted
E0220 CF card not inserted.

Highlight "Saved Images", press the ENTER key, and specify the number of the folder in which you
want to save the image data (01 to 99).
The name of the folder in which image data are saved is preset to "Image", but
you must specify a number followed by the folder name. For example, if a number
"01" is assigned to a holder, the folder name will become "Image01" and the
image data file will be stored in the Image01 folder.
4.
Specify the folder number and press the ENTER key.
Backing up the image data starts. When backing up the image data is completed, the backup menu
disappears.
If the dialog message shown below, the number of the folder specified at step 3 already exists in the
Compact Flash memory card. Select "YES" to erase the existing image data together with the folder and
newly save the current image data on the Compact Flash memory card.
Data already exists. Overwrite?
If the following message shown below appeared, the Compact Flash memory card does not have enough
storage capacity to save the image. Use a Compact Flash memory card with sufficient storage capacity.
E0240 CF memory used up.
About File Name
The image data are saved as the following file name under the specified folder in the Compact Flash memory card.
Image00 nn m
Image00: Fixed
nn: 01 to 16 (for Image No.)
m: 1 or 2 (for Camera No.)
