6.2.3 Selecting a Camera Image

To select a camera image to set a checker (1: Camera 1 and 2: Camera 2):
1.
Choose "Camera" from the checker menu.
The subwindow for camera selection is displayed.
2.
Select the desired memory number.
The displayed image is changed to the image of the type selected from the menu under Initial Settings in
ENVIRONMENT menu.
Adjusting the Brightness of a Captured Image
Gray image
You do not have to make an image adjustment on the PV310, but the image changes depending on the
aperture position of lens and brightness of a light for image process. Adjust the brightness of the image
while checking the live image.
Binary image
Set a slice level to binarize an image. The pixels of more than minimum and less than maximum gray level
are displayed in white and the rest of the pixels are displayed in black. Slice levels of eight groups (A to H)
can be specified per product type and memory. Choose or change a slice level following the steps
described in the next section
