11.2.3 Setting COM Port

To set the COM 1 port for RS-232C communication, select "ENVIRONMENT" > "Serial Communication" >
"RS232C" from the menu bar. Specify the setting values for the COM 1 port should be the same as that for the
external device.

11.2.4 Output Data

Output Data from PV310 during Inspection
When inspection is carried out, the following signal is output from the serial port (COM1 only). Only the data of the
items that has been set to output under the "General Output" tab (by selecting "ENVIRONMENT" > "Data Output
Settings" from the menu bar) is output in the following order:

In the following cases, the data of each of Scans, Judgment Results, Numeric Calculation, and Statistics are not
output to the serial port (unset registers are skipped.)
Each data is set to "Out" under the "General Output" tab, but the setting data do not exist.
The setting data exist, but each data is set to "None" under the "General Output" tab.
Number of Output Digits
For number of Scans, Numeric Calculations and Statistics, specify the number of output digits within the range
from 1 to 11. (Judgment results are always output regardless of the number of output digits.) If number of output
digits exceeds the specified number of output digits, the "0" data will be output.
