Restoring a Memory Image
With this feature, you can import the memory images that were backed up from PV310 and saved in a Compact
Flash memory card into the PV310 memory. In the same way, you can import the images that were saved with the
Image Save function and backed up in a Compact Flash memory card into the PV310 as memory images.
1.
Select "CARD" from the menu bar in SETUP mode.
The menu is displayed

Select "Restore".
The subwindow is displayed.
If the following message appears, check if the Compact Flash memory card is
properly inserted
E0220 CF card not inserted.

Move the cursor to the number right next to "Image", press the ENTER key, and then specify the
folder number of the desired folder (01 to 99).
Only the numbers of the folders for image data saved on the Compact Flash memory
card are shown.
The image files in following directory are restored.
Panasonic MEW Vision¥PV310¥Image nn (nn = 01 - 99)

Specify the folder number and press the ENTER key.
It starts restoring. When the menu disappears, restoring is completed.
If the backed-up images are saved in the specified directory, the images are automatically restored.
The images output using the Image Output function or backed up from the PV310 can be also restored if they
fulfill the following conditions:
Bitmap format file, 8-bit, Size: 512 (horizontal) x 480 (vertical)
Save the image as a file name to suit the format in the table shown on the previous page.
Save the image files in the following directory:
Panasonic MEW Vision¥PV310¥Image ¥Image nn (nn = 01 - 99).
