10.2 Input/Output Timing According to Start Settings
Timing chart differs depending on the settings configured by selecting "Initial Settings" > "Start" from
"ENVIRONMENT"
10.2.1 Starting Inspection - Once
If "Start" is set to "ONCE", the PV310 executes inspection just one time for each START signal input.
Timing Chart
T1 > 1 ms, T2 = "Inspection execution time" or "Minimum time for READY signal OFF". The times vary
depending on the setting. , T3 = Min. 1 ms

Make sure that READY signal is on, and then input START signal for more than 1ms.
In User-Defined mode, specify the block number using signals IN1 to IN 2. Input the signals IN 1 – IN 2 at 1
ms or more before the START signal is input.

The READY signal is turned off within 1 ms after the START signal is input. Then, image import
starts.

After the PV310 finished capturing the image, REND signal is turned on.

After the program execution, output data D1- D8 are output.

After D1 - D8 are output, the READY signal is recovered (OFF to ON) and REND signal is turned off.
T2 time for READY signal OFF differs depending on the program. If the Min. READY signal OFF time is
longer than the inspection execution time, T2 time will be the Min. READY signal OFF time.

Results are output.
Result Output: Via Compact Flash memory card and Ethernet
After the READY signal is recovered, the results are output by the time of the next START signal input
(while the READY signal is on). If the results are not output by then, communication is disconnected and
the rest of the data are output upon the end of the inspection.
Result Output: Serial (Async.)
After READY signal is recovered, the results are output in manner of RS-232C communication before the
REND signal is turned on. If result output is not completed by then, communication will be disconnected
and rest of the data will be output upon the end of the inspection.
Result Output: Serial (Per Start), Computer Link
READY signal is not recovered until communication is completed.
