Unit structure
(i)
The unit structure is shown in Figure 5.2-1 (a). A unit is made of VCT, CPU, and BIO module.
They are joined using the front panel (HMI). A case will be used to cover the unit. USB port is
provided for the maintenance.

(ii)
Figure 5.2-1 (b) and (c) show the rear view and schematic diagram of the rear view. VCT is
mounted at terminal label "VT". IO module "IO#1" is mounted at terminal labels "T1" and
"T2"†. Communication modules are mounted at terminal labels "C1", "C2", and "C3"‡.
