The RP1 element operation can be blocked when the entering voltage is less than the
value, which will be adjusted using setting [UV-RPBLK]. To block it, the user should set
Block for setting [RP-UVBlk].
Delaying RP1 operation
(ii)
There is a delay timer in the PR1 logic, so the user can delay its operation with setting [TRP1],
which can be found in the RP function logic (see Figure 2.29-2).
Miscellaneous functions
(iii)
Operation blocked by CB closing:
In order to prevent unwanted operation at which CB has been closed, the function will
not operate until a certain time has passed. The time can be adjusted with setting
[TRP1-CB]. The user should set Block for the setting [PR1-CBBlk] to avoid unwanted
operation.
Operation blocked by ICD:
Each RP operation will be blocked at which the ICD function has detected the second
harmonic current caused by magnetizing inrush phenomenon at which transformer is
being energized.
Setting [RP1-2fBlk] is provided in RP1 element and default Non is set for the setting,
but the user can set Block when wishing to block the RP1 operation at which the second
harmonic current has been observed. For more information about the ICD function, see
Chapter 2.10.
Operation blocked by VTF:
RP operation can be blocked at which the voltage transformer failure (VTF) function has
operated. Default Non is set for setting [RP1-VTFBlk], but the user can set Block for the
setting to block RP1 operation if a failure has occurred at the voltage transformer.
Operation blocked by CTF:
PR operation can be blocked at which the current transformer failure (CTF) function
has operated. Default Non is set for setting [RP1-CTFBlk], but the user can set Block
for the setting to block RP1 operation if a failure has occurred at the current transformer.
Trip signals:
If an alarm signal is required in place of RP1 trip command, set Alarm for setting [RP1-
UseFor]. Default Trip is set for the setting in order to issue normal trip commands.
