Time sequences in the gateway

4.6.1

DALI fade times

The fade time has 16 settings (0 to 15). Fade time is specified as the time required to change the lamp
power from the current brightness value to the required target brightness. If a lamp is switched off, the
preheat and ignition time are excluded from the fade time. This time is used in scenes or brightness value
transitions.
The fade rate determines the speed at which the lamp power changes in steps per second. This value is
used in relative dimming.
Both values are stored in the ballast.
Fade time and fade rate are defined as follows in DALI standard EN 62386-102:
