9.5 Re-Registering the Template

This is a setting to update (or re-register) the templates of Smart Matching and Contour Matching by
inputting signals from the external device. You can re-register either by parallel FCT2 input signal or by
serial command input.

9.5.1 Re-registering Mode and Diplay Options

Mode
There are available two types of modes as follows.
Mode
Description
Setting Position
In this mode, re-registering at the position of the preset template area can be attained.
This mode will be available, if the position of the object is the same between at
re-registration and at setting of the target checker.
Position
If "Position Adjustment" is set to any other number than "0", this mode re-registers at the
Adjustment
position of the adjusted target checker after position adjustment or rotation adjustment
assigned to the preset checker number is executed and the target checker is adjusted.
This mode will be available, if the position of the object at re-registration is different
between at re-registration and at setting of the target checker.
Area Display
This is a function to check the area to be re-registered during re-registering. In this case, it is required to
input timing signals (or commands) to re-register twice.

9.5.2 Setting Procedure

1.
Select "ENVIRONMENT" > "Template Settings" from the menu bar.

Select "Re-register Position".
Choose "Setting Position" or "Adjusting Position". (Initial value: Setting
Position)
3.
Select "Area Display".
Choose "Yes" or "No". (Initial value: No)
