Image Types:
A camera image is imported into Memory 1 and
Memory 2 by following the procedure above, and then
its checker for inspection is created. When you
performed each process, the image types for
inspection are as the table shown on the right. Image
type that can be scanned differs depending on the
checker. Refer to the list of the checker types for
details.
Differential Binary Image:
In a gray/differential image, the parts with the range of the desired gray values (or differential values) are
displayed in white and the rest parts are displayed in black. The range of gray scale is called a binary
level and eight binary levels A to H can be registered per product type and memory. As the color
information is only white and black, each checker can process the image faster. If the brightness of the
image or the object changes during inspection; however, the colors of the pixels may change from white
to black or reversely from black to white.
The image type that can be scanned differs depending on the checker. Refer to page 64.
Refer to the User's Manual (Color Extraction) for more information.
When the positions of a differential image and a differential binary image (with the Edge
detection/Gravity/Matching function) are detected, note that the one size lager pixels than the
actual position of the object are output.
