3.1.7 FLASH Output Synchronizing Signal

Pin Assignments
The FLASH terminal is located on the output
terminal block. Do not commonly use with
other COMMON terminals.
Output Circuit
Rated operating voltage: 5-24 V DC
Flash Timing Chart
• Note that the time from the FLASH output signal ON to OFF (including the times listed below) does
not exceed Flash output sync. Signal lag of AX40. This signal lag changes depending on the
attached strobe.
• Strobe response time. The time differs depending on the used strobe.
• Strobe flash time. The time differs depending on the used strobe.
The camera shutter speed to 1/30 to 1/1000 when using the strobe.
Do not use the same strobe for the camera connected to another AX40.
When a strobe is used, the strobe flashes continuously during Live-image display. When
continuously performing inspection by setting a strobe, switch to memory image display.
