Electra Elite IPK II
In voice communication, particularly Internet telephony, the Mean Opinion Score (MOS) provides a
numerical measure of the quality of human speech at the circuit destination. The scheme uses
subjective tests (opinionated scores) that are mathematically averaged to obtain a quantitative indicator
of the system performance. The maximum MOS is 5.0.
IPK II SIP supports a 100 rel option and Session Timer option.
IPK II SIP supports Early Media.
IPK II SIP restricts an outgoing call under the following conditions:
SIP configuration failed
SIP registration failed
CPUII and MG16 Link down
Lack of MG16 DSP resource
Lack of a MG16 bandwidth
Both port numbers can be configured by system data.
ToS Support.
Conditions
SIP IP Station to MEGACO IP Station does not support Peer-to-Peer function and results in
using a DSP resource. (Version 1600 and 2100 or higher required).
SIP Stations which support RFC 3842 (Message Waiting) receive Message Waiting Lamp
indications. (Version 1600 and 2100 or higher required).
SIP Station – MG16 does not support NAT traversal.
SIP Station – MG16 does not support a Blind Transfer feature.
SIP station does not support Video Stream.
SIP Station and SIP Trunk required license key for activation. Once activated, the SIP
Client license may be shared between SIP Station and SIP Trunks.
The maximum number of the SIP clients is 256.
SIP protocol (RFC3261) is used.
SIP Station uses the MG16 as a media gateway. Any MG16 can be used as a MG. Master/
Slave setting is not required.
Default UDP listen port for a SIP station is 5070. Both port numbers can be configured by
system data.
IPK II SIP Station registration policy supports an authentication feature. Enabling this policy
prevents the registered telephone from unexpected override.
