1. Plug the kill relay into the wire harness (Fig. 1576).
2. Connect the negative battery cable to the battery.

1. Turn the engine off and remove the key from the
ignition.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the
battery.

3. Unplug the harness from the proximity neutral switch
connector (Fig. 1577).

4. Remove the cable tie securing the switch wires to
the frame (Fig. 1578).
