Procedure
The PMT gain values are displayed in colors
indicating their status:
•
Yellow indicates that tuning is in progress
•
Green indicates that the PMT has been
tuned
•
Red indicates that the PMT has failed
tuning and is outside range.
The range of the PMT gain values is 0 – 1023,
typically between 200 and 800.
When the output of all the PMT's is at the
same level, the calibration is complete. A mes-
sage notifies the user that the calibration is
complete.
17. Click OK to close the message.
18. Remount the collimator on the detector
that has just been calibrated.
19. Press the hand controller Collision Over-
ride button to enable power to the motors.
20. Repeat the procedure to PMT tune the
other detector, or
21. Click Exit to close the PMT page.
