5.4.2 Deleting SDH Services

You can delete an existing SDH service.
Prerequisite
You must be an NM user with "NE operator" authority or higher.
Procedure
Step 1 In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose Configuration > SDH Service Configuration
from the Function Tree.
Step 2 Click Query to query the existing services.
Step 3 If the service to be deleted is active, you should deactivate the service first. Select the service
that you need to delete and click Deactivate.
Deactivation interrupts the services.
Step 4 Select the service to be deleted and click Delete.
Step 5 Click OK in the Confirm dialog box that is displayed.
Step 6 Click Close in the Operation Result dialog box indicating that the operation succeeded.

5.4.3 Deleting Ethernet Private Line Services

Ethernet private line services need to be deleted when the Ethernet boards that are configured
with the Ethernet private line services need to be deleted or when the service configuration is
incorrect.
Issue 02 (2011-06-30)
Click OK. Then, the Operation Result dialog box is displayed, indicating that the
operation is successful.
Click Close.
Select the service that you need to modify and click Delete.
Click OK. Then, the Operation Result dialog box is displayed, indicating that the
operation is successful.
Click Close. The service is deleted.
Create the service again according to the requirements. For details, see Creating SDH
Services.
