Supervision of analog input data on VCTs (AI error)
9.2.14
It is possible to detect the failure of the analog to digital conversion in the VCT module† of
MainUnit and SubUnits.
†Note: See Chapter
more information. The function can operate in respective VCTs.
Error level
(i)
The default error level has been set at level 1 (Serious error
level using the [CHK_ACC:LVL]. Set On for the settings [CHK_ACC:SW]. The manufacturer
sets one (1) second to detect the failure; it is reset within a second when the failure is cleared.
Note: When the error is detected, the entire operation of the IED is stopped forcibly.

Error message
(ii)
When detecting an error, an error message can be shown on the LCD screen and an LED is lit.
