When the Modbus protocol is provided in the IED†, the measurement and status information
of the IED are transferred to the substation computer by that protocol. It is executed with
message frames from the substation computer message (called "Master query"); then, the data
(called "Slave response") is transferred to the substation computer from the IED. The message
frames can include the following data:

†Note: The GR200-series IEDs do not support to applications (control functions, such as,
DPOS etc.) in the Modbus protocol.
