As mentioned above, the fault duration time measured by IED is shorter than the actual fault
duration time, because it does not include relay operating time, BO contact closing time and
CB opening time.
For this reason, LCD screen shall display a fault duration time, which is complemented with
relay operating time, BO contact closing time and CB opening time. The complementing time
is configurable with setting [Adjustment_Time] in Equation (8.1-1).
