Connection styles and polarity
5.4.4
In order that the relay can run in versatile environment, flexible operations are permitted on
the circuits of VCT; one of styles should be selected depending on the connection of CT/VT and
polarity. A style is determined by the required connection, which is equal to the actual wiring.
Figure 5.4-5 shows menus on the LCD screens about the styles and CT priorities settings.

Cable connections can depend on the CT arrangements and their wirings; hence, the
connection styles are provided for actual user environments. Several CT connection styles are
provided (No. 101–122) in order that the CT can get three-phase current, zero-sequence phase
current and residual current.
