Preparatory work
- Raise the motorcycle with the work stand. (SP p. 12)
Main work
- Remove screws O and ©■
- Remove the engine sprocket cover.

Disconnect plug-in connector

Remove the cable ties.
Expose the cable.

Remove screws ©.
Take off the gear position sensor.
Position the new gear position sensor.
Mount and tighten screws ©.

Secure the wiring harness with cable ties.
