Programming the gear position sensor
Condition
The diagnostics tool is connected and running.
Preparatory work

Reset the engine electronics control unit, (i® p. 256)
Main work
-
Execute "Engine electronics" > "Functions" > "Program the gear position
sensor".

Switch to the main menu.
-
Switch the ignition off and on again.
S The green idling speed indicator lamp N lights up.
