General Description
This feature provides the ability to assign voice station numbers and data station numbers to any
corresponding instrument location, depending solely upon numbering plan limitations.
Operating Procedure
Refer to the NEAX2400 ICS Command Manual.
Service Conditions
1.
Careful consideration should be given to any numbering assignment, especially in larger
systems, to avoid the unnecessary loss of access codes or duplication of station numbers. There
is no limit to the number of groups that can be assigned per system. There is no limit to the
number of groups that can be assigned per system.
2.
Where TENANT SERVICE [T-12] is provided, station numbers may not be duplicated between
tenants. A combination of one, two, three, four and five-digit numbering may be used.

Example a., b., c., can be assigned as 3 different stations.
3.
BUSY LAMP FIELD - FLEXIBLE [B-2] service can be provided only when the defining station
number digits exceed two.
Interactions
Caution should be exercised when programming this feature. Large quantities of potential station
numbers are consumed. As programmed below, the system will be equipped with just one 2-digit station
and one 3-digit station.
