General Description
This feature allows a station user to place a voice call to a INTERNAL ZONE PAGING group of up to 24
stations. The calling party announces the call over the built-in speakers on the D
ZONE PAGING group. The called party can answer to the call using CALL PICKUP-DIRECT [C-30] or
CALL PICKUP-GROUP [C-7] as well as pressing the Prime Line and Answer keys on the D
Operating Procedure
To originate:
1.
Lift the handset; receive dial tone.
2.
Dial the access code or press the feature key for INTERNAL ZONE PAGING; receive second
dial tone.
3.
Dial the desired group number (01-99) of INTERNAL ZONE PAGING.
4.
Announce the call over the built-in speakers on the D
group.
To answer:
When using the Prime Line and Answer keys:
•
1.
Press the Prime Line key or lift the handset; receive dial tone.
2.
Press the Answer key.
3.
The call is connected to your station.
When using CALL PICKUP-DIRECT [C-30]:
•
1.
Lift the handset; receive dial tone.
2.
Dial the access code for CALL PICKUP-DIRECT [C-30]; receive second dial tone.
3.
Dial the desired station number in the INTERNAL ZONE PAGING group.
4.
The call is connected to your station.
•
When using CALL PICKUP-GROUP [C-7]:
1.
Lift the handset; receive dial tone.
2.
Dial the access code or press the feature key for CALL PICKUP-GROUP [C-7].
3.
The call is connected to your station.
Service Conditions
1.
This feature is available Series 6100 software or later.
2.
The number of Internal Zone Paging groups is a maximum of 99 groups for each tenant.

Each D
can be a member of multiple Internal Zone Paging groups.
4.
A maximum of 255 groups per system can be simultaneously paged using this feature.
5.
This feature is activated to idle stations in an Internal Zone Paging group.
6.
When this feature is activated, if all the stations in the Internal Zone Paging group are busy, the
calling party hears busy tone.
7.
This feature cannot be activated from the Attendant, C.O. line or Tie line.
