The DTP-32DE-1 Multiline Terminal is the only one certified for use in
¥
a home environment. None of the other D
Elite Multiline Terminals are certified for home use because of FCC
restrictions, but they are approved for use in an office environment.
¥
The HFU-U Unit handsfree adapter cannot operate with a KTS
remote Multiline Terminal for home use because of FCC restrictions,
but it is approved for use in an office environment.
¥
An applicable network terminating device must be installed and
functioning at both the corporate facility and the branch office.
¥
The data connection between the corporate facility and the branch
office must be configured properly and operational.
Network termination equipment must support an RS-232, V.35 or
¥
RS-530 synchronous interface or support IP devices over Ethernet.
¥
The system operates from 100-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz. Power must not
be applied to the Gateway unit until specified in the installation
procedures.
¥
The Gateway power supply and cables should be installed away from
high power/high RF noise devices such as computers, fans,
fluorescent ballast, or power supplies.
Good wiring practices are required. Do not run wires across devices
¥
such as fluorescent lights, computers, or air conditioners to avoid
introducing noise in the modems.
The distance between the PBX/KTS and the Gateway unit must not
¥
exceed 500 feet.
