To exit a Conference with internal and outside conference members without affecting the other
parties:
Multiline Terminal
1.
Hang up.
If you press Hold while on a call with two outside callers, the outside callers hear what is programmed
in Program 10-04-01.
Single Line Telephone
1.
Hang up.
If you are not permitted to use Tandem Trunking, outside callers may hear Music on Hold.
To exit a Conference when all conference members are outside parties without affecting the
other parties:
Multiline Terminal
1.
Press Hold key.
2.
Dial
8.
#
3.
Hang up.
Single Line Telephone
1.
Hookflash and dial # 8.
2.
Hang up.

To Barge-In to Conference Call:

1.
Pick up the handset or press Speaker and dial the service code (default = 810).
If the telephone does not have the proper COS, a warning tone is sent. After the user hangs up, the
system automatically places a Callback to the extension.
2.
Dial the extension number or press a DSS key of a telephone within a Conference call.
When a new call is added to the conference, an intrusion tone is heard by all parties in the Conference,
depending on system programming, and all display multiline terminals show the joined party. If a
Conference is not possible:
the extension user hears a warning tone
the DISA user is rerouted to the defined ring group
- OR -
the Tie Line user hears a busy tone.
The following steps are not available for DISA or Tie Line trunks:
1.
Dial the extension number of the internal party.
2.
Dial the single digit service code, if programmed.
Instead of the single digit service code, the service code 710 can also be dialed at this point.
