7.6.1 Function of the logic gate
This parameter can be used to define whether a logic function or the threshold function is used.

The logic gate is not used.
The logic function AND is used. If the value 1 is present on both inputs, the result = 1. The result can be
inverted, linked with any output within the device or output on the group object Result .
The following group objects will be enabled:
• Connection A
• Connection B
• Group object "Connection A" after bus voltage recovery
• Group object "Connection B" after bus voltage recovery
• Invert result
• Send result on KNX
The logic function OR is used. If the value 1 is present on at least one input, the result = 1. The result
can be inverted, linked with any output within the device or output on the group object Result .
The following group objects will be enabled:
• Connection A
• Connection B
• Group object "Connection A" after bus voltage recovery
• Group object "Connection B" after bus voltage recovery
• Invert result
• Send result on KNX
The logic function exclusive OR is used. If different values are present on both inputs, the result = 1.
The result can be inverted, linked with any output within the device or output on the group object
Result .
The following group objects will be enabled:
• Connection A
• Connection B
• Group object "Connection A" after bus voltage recovery
• Group object "Connection B" after bus voltage recovery
• Invert result
• Send result on KNX
The logic function GATE is used. As long as GATE is activated, the most recent value sent to the input
(Connection B) remains as the result.
After disabling (Connection A), the value that the result had before disabling is retained. After en-
abling, the result remains unchanged until the input (Connection B) receives a new value.
The result can be inverted, linked with any output within the device or output on the group object
Result .
The following group objects will be enabled:
• Connection A
• Connection B
• GATE disables if group object "Connection A" equals
• Group object "Connection A" after bus voltage recovery
• Group object "Connection B" after bus voltage recovery
• Invert result
• Send result on KNX
