Setup Encryption Mode

This function sets the encryption mode to encrypt volumes by using the CM.
The ETERNUS DX60 S3 does not support this function.
Encryption related functions are only available after enabling the encryption mode.
When disabling the encryption mode, reboot the ETERNUS DX.
When changing the encryption mode, delete all the encrypted volumes and volumes being encrypted in
advance.
Once a volume has been encrypted, it cannot be changed back to a non-encrypted volume.
This function cannot be changed in the following conditions:

Encrypted volumes exist
-
Volumes being encrypted exist
When using the encryption function in a Unified Storage environment, set the encryption mode as shown
below.

For the ETERNUS DX100 S3
Set the encryption mode to "Fujitsu Original Encryption". AES encryption mode cannot be used
because it deteriorates performance of the NAS function.

For the ETERNUS DX200 S3 and the ETERNUS DX500 S3/DX600 S3
It is highly recommended that the encryption mode is set to "Fujitsu Original Encryption".
When using the encryption function, set the encryption mode to "Fujitsu Original Encryption" or "AES".
