Control and monitoring application
GER200 provides 'General control' and 'Control and monitoring application' for control services
such that circuit breakers and isolators, etc. are controlled by the IED. The user can control
them through LCD screen.
[L/R] Remote/Local control function
When control of the object device is required, this allows the selection of the control command
for either local or remote, (dispatch site/control center) operation.
[LEDR] LED reset function
The LRST can light off a LED when it is lit by tripping.
[MDCTRL] Mode control function
The MDCTRL is provided for testing. It allows issuing a mode change command during the
test.
[GCNT] General pulse counter function
The GCNT can count a signal, for example the output of a PLC function and counts the number
of pulses for the signal. The total number of pulses counted will be memorized in the IED.
[DPOS] Double position device function
The DPOS is used to handle a device including a double-position switch. It can detect contact
inconsistency.
[ILK] Software interlock function
The ILK is provided to latch the operation of control functions that is connected to a primary
device.
Monitoring and recording functions
Using the HMI, the monitoring and metering functions can display status, settings, data and
others. The user can also see information using "GR-series Toshiba IED Engineering and
Monitoring Software (GR-TIEMS)" both at local and remote end.
Monitoring function:
It measures power system quantities and can screen the metering information on the LCD
screen. It also handles statics data such as demand values and counting numbers.
Fault record function:
It will record fault state if the trip command is issued. It also memorizes the fault information
data. The user can see, through LCD screen, several data with additional information: date &
time, fault phase, tripping phase, tripping mode, fault location, operating mode and power
system quantities.
