SSI encoder with 25 bits message frame length, 12 bits multiturn, 12 bits singleturn, one
alarm bit:
• $MD_NO_TRANSMISSION_BITS = 25
• $MD_ENC_ABS_TURNS_MOTOR = 4096
• $MD_ENC_ABS_RESOL_MOTOR = 4096
• $MD_ENC_CONFIG.Bit 14 = 1
• $MD_ENC_CONFIG.Bit 12 = 0

The configuration of a linear SSI motor measuring system is incorrect: A linear measuring
system cannot have any multiturn information.

- Interface signals are set.
Set MD_5021 $MD_ENC_ABS_TURN_MOTOR (number of representable revolutions) to
0.

nals.
