13. Route the belt around the idler arm pulley (Fig.
1858).
14. Move the idler arm outward to apply tension to
the fan belt. Refer to "Checking the Alternator Belt
Tension" on page 6/4-60. While applying tension,
use a 9/16" socket to tighten the idler arm nut (Fig.
1859).

15. Slide the rear suction hose onto the rear pump
suction fitting (Fig. 1860).
16. Slide the front suction hose onto the front pump
suction fitting (Fig. 1861).
