Note: Protect all exposed sealing areas and open
cavities from damage, foreign material and
chemicals.
Note: Remove and discard all seals, o-rings
and gaskets and replace with new when
reassembling.
1. Remove the key from the keyway in the pump shaft
(Fig. 0178).

2. Secure the pump in a vise.
3. Mark the pump housing with a "V" that crosses over
all sections of the housing (Fig. 0179).
4. Remove the 4 bolts and washers securing the pump
sections (Fig. 0180).
