21. Install a new shaft seal in the pump cover so that the
spring side of the seal is facing the housing side of
the pump cover (Fig. 0197).
22. Carefully drive the seal into the cover until it is
seated (Fig. 0198).

23. Install the snap ring into the pump cover (Fig. 0199).
24. Remove the bushing from the drive gear and driven
