18. Route the fan belt around the driven fan pulley (Fig.
2041).
19. Apply thread locking compound to the 4 pump mount
mounting bolts (Fig. 2042).

20. Position the pump mount/idler assembly to the
engine block. Route the belt around the fan drive
pulley. Loosely install the 4 bolts and lock washers
securing the pump mount/idler assembly to the
engine block (Fig. 2043).
Note: The bottom 2 mounting bolts are located
below the pump mount opening and bolt
the bottom of the pump mount to the engine
block. Using a 1/2" socket, tighten the 4 pump
mount assembly mounting bolts.
21. Install the hydraulic tandem pump. Refer to "Hy-
draulic Tandem Pump Installation" on page 6/2-57.
