Station-to-station test

Station-to-station test checks the condition of the cable connected between two stations (from OUT of the executing
station to IN of the other station.)
(1) System configuration and parameter setting for other than redundant systems
(a) System configuration
1.
Connect the programming tool to the CPU module.
2.
Turn OFF the power and connect an optical fiber cable between OUT of the executing station and
IN of the other station.
3.
Turn ON the power.

(b) Setting network parameters in the programming tool
1.
Set the test-executing station to the station-to-station test mode.
After setting the following network parameters in the programming tool, write them to the programmable
controller.
2.
Set the other station to the online mode.
After setting the following network parameters in the programming tool, write them to the programmable
controller.
