If a fault is noticed in the Chromaster 5310 column oven main
unit, take a remedy with reference to the following table.
Cause
Erroneous operation of
instrument or circuit board
Error in communication
Temperature specified in time
program exceeds upper
temperature limit of
-5 °C.
Temperature control has been
stopped due to external
contact input.

path in column oven
2. Solvent remains in oven
3. Alarm level of gas leak
sensor is too low

3. Contamination is attached
to liquid leak sensor.

Remedy
If error recurs after power is restored,
contact your nearest service office of
Hitachi High-Technologies
Corporation sales representative.
Check connection with chromato-
data station (CDS) and GUI
controller. And then try reconnection
with CDS.
Adjust upper temperature limit setting
or temperature setting in time
program.
Press the CL key for clearing an error
indication.
1. Wipe up leaked liquid, and
retighten tube connections.
If gas leak error still occurs,
replace tubing.
2. Eliminate all of remaining solvent.
3. Adjust alarm level of the gas leak
sensor.
1. Wipe up leaked liquid, and
retighten tube connections.
If liquid leak error still occurs,
replace tubing.
2. Eliminate all of remaining solvent
in drain tray.
3. Wipe up contamination attached
in liquid leak sensor.
If error recurs after power is restored,
contact your nearest service office of
Hitachi High-Technologies
Corporation sales representative.
