3.3.5 Checking the Wavelength Accuracy with Hg Lamp

It is checked whether the wavelength is normal or not using the
254 nm bright line of mercury lamp.

The GLP setup screen appears.

Select Hg CHECK.
Press [numerical] key [4], and then the [ENT] key.

Checking action will automatically be taken.
During check, the following display is presented.

After this check, its result is indicated.
ACCURACY (254 nm)
GOOD -1nm
Wavelength accuracy is checked utilizing the bright line of
the mercury lamp at 254 nm. When deviation is within ±1
nm, "GOOD" will be indicated. If deviation exceeds ±1 nm,
"FAIL" will be indicated. When no bright line has been
detected, "NOT DETECTED" is indicated. In this case,
confirm mounting of the flow cell, and then turn on power
supply again. If the situation does not improve, contact the
nearest maintenance service company authorized by
Hitachi High-Technologies.
