*1): PRESSURE MAX LIMIT ERROR also appears when the
pressure exceeds the internal pressure limit.
The limit is changed automatically related to the flow rate.
The internal pressure limit is 60 MPa for 0.000 to 2.500
mL/min, and 30 MPa for 2.501 to 5.000 mL/min.
Table 4-3 offers a guideline for the troubleshooting of the pump.
Refer to this table first, if a problem occurs.

Cause
The program mode is not displayed.
Flow rate is set at 0.

Measure
Set the program mode by
pressing the INITIAL key.
Set the flow rate by pressing the
MANUAL key of the MANUAL
function.

Display the monitor screen
by pressing the ESC key.

Set the program mode by
pressing the INITIAL key.
Display the monitor screen by
pressing the ESC key.

Turn on the power supply
for the pump or the system
unit.

Connect the power supply
cable.

Set suction velocity as:
5 mL/min and below for
replacement of the solvent.
3 mL/min and below for an
analysis.

Tighten the joint manually.

Wash the solvent filter.
4)
Place the solvent bottle in
the same height as the
instrument.
5)
Replace the solvent
completely.
