3.1.8 Exit Operation

3.1.9 Washing after Operation

NOTE:
A maximum of 100 steps can be entered for program
No.1 to 9 (92 steps per program).
NOTE:
The entered program will be saved. When the power
supply is turned on next time, the initial screen
(TIME=0) used for the previous program will be
displayed.
Carry out the exit operation.

Close the purge valve when it is in the open state.
NOTE: Make sure that the purge valve is closed. When
a purge valve is opened, an eluent may be flowing
from the solvent bottle.

Press the power switch to turn off the power supply.
The LED is turned off.
When buffer solution (example: salt solution) is used, it causes a
wear of a plunger. The whole flow path system must wash with
distilled water after the analysis.
Distilled water must be used in a plunger wash system to
prevent from a salt-induced precipitation for a plunger and
plunger seal when using the mobile phase which is salt-induced
precipitation type.
Additionally, pour distilled water into the plunger wash system of
the rear part of the pump head and wash after an analysis.
When connecting with the Chromaster 5260 autosampler,
connect an inlet tube to syringe valve port 4 by reference to the
Fig. 3-3b.

instruction manual for details when a plunger wash pump
(option) or the Chromaster 5260 autosampler is connected.
