Install Blade in Housing
Step 2
Unlatch the fiber restraint gates on each side of the blade.
Note: Slide the fiber restraint gate slightly inward to open the gate.

After opening the fiber restraint gates, secure the blade to the 1FINITY Housing using the set screws on the left-
and right-hand sides of the blade.
Note: The set screws for securing the blade are accessible after opening the fiber restraint gates on the left-
and right-hand sides of the blade.
Step 4
Perform the same procedure for each blade to be installed.
Warning: After the blade is seated in the housing, it should not be removed, reseated, or power down for
at least 15 minutes. Repetitive restart of the blade within 15 minutes causes database corruption, which
leads to blade start-up failure and requires a return to factory for reprogramming.
