Adding Degree to ROADM Node
Step 4
Provision the client ports (C1...C9) on the L100 tributary blade.
Note: If autoprovisioning is enabled, the client ports (C1...C9) are automatically provisioned.
Command:
% set eqpt shelf 2 slot 0 cardType BDL1-3R11 subslot 0 port C1 admin-status up
pluggableInterfaceType Client num-lanes 128
Note: Repeat this step for each client port (C1...C9) to be provisioned.
Step 5
Provision the logical port.
Note: If autoprovisioning is enabled, the logical port is automatically provisioned.
Command:
% set eqpt shelf 2 slot 0 subslot 0 port L1 pluggableInterfaceType Logical num-
lanes 128 admin-status up
Step 6
Provision the OSC port.
Note: If autoprovisioning is enabled, the OSC port is automatically provisioned.
Command:
% set eqpt shelf 2 slot 0 subslot 0 port OSC pluggableInterfaceType OSC admin-
status up
Step 7
Provision the E-SC-E1 port equipment.
Note: If autoprovisioning is enabled, the E-SC-E1 port is automatically provisioned.
Note: If a 100ME SFP is being used, specify 100ME for pluggableInterfaceType.
Command:
% set eqpt shelf 2 slot 0 subslot 0 port E-SC-E1 pluggableInterfaceType 1GEX admin-
status up
Important: Fujitsu does not recommend using third-party OSC SFP module because the performance
of third-party OSC module is not guaranteed.
Step 8
Provision the E-SC-E1 port interface.
