Equipment Replacement
Note: The set screws are accessible after opening the fiber restraint gates on the left- and right-hand sides of
the blade.
Step 6
Close both fiber restraint gates after loosening the set screws and disengaging the blade from the Housing.
Step 7
At the front of the blade, use the fiber management arms to slowly pull the blade out of the Housing to the
locked position.
At the locked position, the locks on both sides of the blade stop the blade at approximately halfway out.
Attention: Do not touch the optical fibers in adjoining slots. Make sure fibers from other blades do
not obstruct the blade being removed.
