Location Description
NEND The optical receive power level is above the
threshold on one of the following ports:
■ For BDL1-3R11:
• E-SC-E1
• F-SC-E1
• LCN1...4
■ For BDL1-3B11: LCN1...4
Suggested Corrective Action
1. Verify that the transmitter output level is within
specifications.
2. Clean the port and the fiber attached to it.
3. Replace the blade if necessary.
Location Description
NEND The optical receive power at the OSC port is
above the threshold level.
Suggested Corrective Action
1. Verify that the appropriate transmitter is installed at
the far end.
2. Verify that the transmit output level at the far end is
within specifications.
3. Install an appropriate optical attenuator at the
receiver.
