Prerequisites:
■ User must have Level-4 or Level-5 privileges assigned to perform this procedure
■ System backup has been performed (if required)
Use this procedure if a blade provisioned for encryption is decommissioned or repurposed, and used in
nonencryption mode.
Note: The factory default image is stored in a separate partition in the blade. On every software upgrade, the
factory default image stored in the partition gets upgraded. Hence zeroization at any point returns the blade to
the image which is actively running.
Note: System zeroization is denied when SW validation is in progress. Blade sends a sysZeroizationFailed alarm
if the zeroization process fails.
