User Guide CLI Command Prompt Convention
The CLI provides a mechanism for users to enter commands that configure and manage the NE and perform
operations, administrative, and maintenance tasks on the NE. The CLI is rendered using data models defined in
YANG modules. The CLI is hierarchical, which means that the configuration commands have nested layers.
CLI provides two command modes: operational mode and configuration mode.
Note: For more detailed CLI information, refer to 1FINITY CLI User Guide, available on the Fujitsu Partners
website, https://partners.fnc.fujitsu.com/documentation.
6.2.1
CLI Operational Mode
Operational mode is the initial mode after successful logon to the CLI. It is primarily used for viewing the system
status, controlling the CLI environment, monitoring and troubleshooting network connectivity, and initiating the
configuration mode.
When the CLI session is in the operational mode, the command prompt terminates with the ">" character.
Command Example:
fujitsu@fujitsu>
Key operational mode commands are show and request.
